A letter from Aug 14, 2022

hola from 14 year old you, you are **** near the end of your highschool life. wow. aging is ew. what schools did you look into? niu? michigan? like we said we were? are you gonna get your pre-med like we planned? how did highschool go? did u get that date with lucas or kasey, whether it be prom, homecoming, a football game, a regular dance, or just a date in general? did you make new friends and expand your friend group? are even still friends with emily, gabe, and autumn? did you meet the eddie munson of your life? and most importantly, ARE YOU STILL INTO METAL/ROCK AND KPOP? if you need it, here's a refresher of what happened at 14 so far: - you were currently on call with autumn when you were writing this (are you still friends with her?) - today is aug 14 2022, three days before freshman year - dad paid the lawyer to start the divorce process - las vegas happened 😬 - you dyed your hair AGAIN that's pretty much it on my end. how's your life? mom and dad okay? is duo still alive? did dad win the lottery after the divorce like he said he would? did you start working at 15 to try to gain some sort of independence? did you get your license? and the important question: DID YOU LIVE YOUR LIFE AND DID YOU ENJOY IT? i hope you did. i really hope you are in a better state now. when you were my age...you really weren't feeling so good, even though you would never admit it. not to anyone or even yourself. so here's my life advice and it's simple really: LIVE. LIVE YOUR LIFE TO THE FULLEST; because trust me, i wouldn't be living right now if it wasn't full of what i'm grateful for. hell, i'm supposed to be dead by now. but I...WE are still here. why? why did you save your life if you hated it so much? i can give you an assumption of an answer, and that is because you were still willing to hold on. you were afraid of *****, but you were afraid of doing it alone or doing it with no purpose. you were afraid of ***** because you didn't want to be forgotten...forgetting was so easy for us. that's why i'm writing you this. so you remember what you were living for and to become. what you were holding onto. so if you see this...and you are just fine, great! glad you're happy now. if you see this and you're in some sort of ********, get yourself out. it will be okay. things never go as we plan, trust me we know A LOT about that road. but if you never see this...and you're gone...i'm sorry... i'm sorry no one was there to save you...i'm sorry you reached your breaking point. we were always near the edge of the road, almost ending up in the ditch. but i wasn't expecting you to fall in...we could've been stronger. it was always us against the world...right? on a better note though: live your life. please. i'm begging you. there's so much i bet you haven't done yet. you will find the one who's meant for you. you will be loved. you will be a great wife and mother. you will earn the money to support your family. you will never be forgotten. and you will never forget. always remember: "you're the most important person in your life. so be yourself. be beautiful." johnny suh of nct said that...you still remember him right? and dont forget this too: party on, wayne. yours truly... you (14)
