A letter from Aug 10, 2022

Dear FutureMe, Today I decided that the game RimWorld is not for me. I also placed a negative review on Steam. The last time I opened it, the hint it shows while it loads the assets said essentially that it is a story generator - not a game, and I shouldn't think of it as losing; I should think of it as having generated a story with a tragic ending. I'm playing games in Steam to escape from tragedy, not to generate more in my life. Hopefully someone else who thought RimWorld could be fun will purchase it with a little more foreknowledge of what they are getting in to.
