A letter from August 2nd, 2022

Dear FutureMe, i used to write to my future self saying that i hoped that she had everything figured out but the older i get, the more i realise that you probably don't. and that's okay. no one does tbh. it sounds boring and rigid to know exactly what you're doing. i mean, we live on a floating rock for goodness sake, everyone's just winging this life thing. i just hope you're content. you may be tired and stressed and feel like giving up sometimes, but i just hope you always know how valuable life is, and how much there is to appreciate and to live for.
