A letter from Jul 27, 2022

Dear Nadia, Today is July 20-27,2022. When you read this you will be done with high school. Let me tell you a little bit about freshman year. I started with freshman orientation. I was hot and we sat on the bleachers on the football field. I remember flirting with so many guys. We went inside the B building to do ice breakers. I talked to Tiffany for the first time since middle school. On my 1st day of high school, I literally had 1 friend which was Aanya. I was so nervous. About a week later, Aanya brought over this new girl Vasavi and Liya to sit with us at lunch. That week Tiffany came and sat with us too. I also started playing water polo for school. I was on JV. I played wing. I also sprinted. I started every game and played the whole time. My goal is to be one of the best players on Varsity. I started going to a couple of football games. I think it was my 3rd or 4th game where I kissed Dylan. Then that Sunday, I made out with Diego. Homecoming was in about 2 weeks. I did the couples dance with Greg. I taught him the dance the day of quad night. We won our homecoming game. All throughout this, Tiffany liked Jake. Obviously I tried to get them together which is how me and him became friends. He started sitting with us a few weeks later. It was one of the last freshman games where I kissed Walker. Football season ended and so did water polo. Outside of school, I was still going to swim practice. Practice wasn't going great. I was stressed and not having fun. The swim meets were alright. I didn't feel happy. My mental health was absolute ****. We stayed at home for Thanksgiving. We never had our winter ball. I went and watched basketball games. Swim team started in February. In March, we had Fantastics. I did the couples dance with Vasavi. That night was when me and Jake talked about dating. The week after Fantastics, me and Jake just stayed friends but on Friday, he asked me out to the movies. We watched Batman on the weekend. We talked and dated for about a month. The second time we went out, we kissed. Also I remember kissing Vasavi infront of him then met his dad like the next day. Me and Jake broke up during spring break. Swim season was going great and I went under 6 minutes finallt in my 500 free. Also, Aanya left our friend group and I don't really talk to her anymore. About 2 weeks later, I went to Maite's quince. That week, I made out with Brayden in the hallway of the R building. We haven't talked since. Me and Tiff have our birthday dinner together. It's the last day of school now. I think it was Merbi and Tiago who brought water **** after school. I left for India the next day. About a week later I found out I had failed english. I came back about 2 weeks later. I started summer school on July 5th. I got really close to Annalynn. I loved summer school. It was a very fun 3 weeks. That ended July 22nd. I started going to a couple water polo practices. Liya left for Israel. Tiff and Vas came back so we hung out too. That's pretty much how my freshman year went. I had some hard moments but I pushed through it. I had a lot of good moments too. I loved freshman year. Nadia, when you read this, hopefully you graduated high school and you move on with your life in college or whatever you decide to do. Remember to have fun because you don't wanna die feeling like you didn't live your life. I love you Nadia. I hope you're still alive so you can read this.
