A letter from Jul 20, 2022

Dear FutureMe, my first semester at college has been overwhelming, a lot has happened and a lot has changed. i’m moving out in a couple weeks before i move into my apartment and of course i’m scared but i’m excited. i’m looking forward to what’s ahead and i’m excited to turn 18! as of right now i’m with connor, i love him so much and i don’t know what i would do without him by my side. i’m nervous for my future, i want to be successful and happy and proud of the life i’ve made for myself. i think future me would advise me to stay on track and not lose focus of who i am. i’m still figuring that out, but i’m excited to see what kind of person i become. i want to find my people and make fsu feel like my home. future me: i hope everything is as good as i’m hoping it will be. (for reference, today i’m going to kats party, probably the last ever, reminiscing high school and all the friends that are leaving soon).
