A letter from July 19, 2022

Dear FutureMe, Hello Sydney, by this point you will be 22 now. I know that your 20s may not have started off how you might have imagined or even hoped for, but maybe by this point you have learned to let go of expecting so much and also learning to just live. Idk what you would be doing at this age, but if I were to be speaking to a more confident and self assured version of you, I would say that you have found a career path or a vocation that makes you fulfilled. Whether you’ve taken your video editing seriously and have managed to make a career for yourself or you are still working for Nadira and maybe at this point she has hired you and you work with her full time. Whatever you are doing with your life, I hope that you are at least working towards finding peace and stability and that you have healed enough to where you are trusting people again. Regardless, I love you and I will always be proud of you. With love, Sydney
