A letter from Jul 17, 2022

Dear Future Me, I wonder if this will be one of the random assortment of memories that you vividly remember. Regardless, hi! How are things going? If my plans are going like they should, I should be graduated by now with a degree in music education, and hopefully I have found a job at a school to begin my career path. Here are some reminders! Remember your philosophy on voice. Never raise it unless to encourage. Hold yourself to be able to do the things you ask of your students. Advocate and don’t be afraid to ask for my responsibility. Try that visual design! Try to arrange some music! Follow the things that interest you and especially ones that could make you a bit of money on the side because that can never hurt! Don’t be afraid to change what you do as long as you don’t lose sight and what you truly want to do and get out of life. Give back, create art, and make an impact on the future generations. P.S. You better have had at least one boyfriend by now dude. Don’t make me have to download a dating app because I was too scared to ask people out! You’ve got this! Just stay true to yourself!
