A letter from Jun 22, 2022

Dear Cole, Hey man. This should be received past my high school graduation, if not, stop here and wait. With that said, I'll get into it. It's the 21st of June, 8:54. So I had my second day of freshman football today (summer), and bro you don't know how tired I am. Well actually you do because... you're me. But you might not remember. Let me fill you in. The amount of conditioning was unholy. You experienced bear crawls for the first time, not fun. Yeah literally everyone's legs were shaking in their FIFTEEN MINUTE LONG KNEE. You took like ten minutes to catch your breath. Your coaches are mental btw idk if you remember that. Speaking of mental, how is your mental health? It better be better than it is now, because this is hard. You better be getting your sleep too or you're gonna get dementia, which you don't like, remember? I hope you still aren't having those breakdowns on the bathroom floor for a long time (hour). If you still are tho it actually be time to tell somebody. Just think about it alright? For me, no, us. Sooooooo, did you get a girlfriend? Maybe you did, that would be cool. Maybe she's reading this with you. If so, wassup future girlfriend. You lookin pretty ngl. I hope you guys are doin well. I don't know you yet so I'm gonna have to say goodbye here. So future me, there's gonna be a part at the end that's just from me to you or myself or whatever. I want only you/me to read that okay? Thanks. And hey Cole, if you don't have a girlfriend, that's okay. Not everybody needs a girlfriend in high school. It won't change much, and you'll probably end up in a similar spot as if you did have one. So hey, don't feel bad. How about friends? Are we still friends with the St. Gregory kids? Some of them, maybe all of them? Maybe all of our friends are new. Either way, I hope we made the right choices. So how are Kris and Tors? I know we liked them (and hated [sort of] them) in the past (my past too), but how are they now? Man, it feels so weird to refer to myself as we. Oh my, I almost forgot to ask, how are Faith and Kaitlyn? I hope we still check up on them. Psst, that's your cue to go check on them right now if you haven't been. God i hope they are doing well, they are such nice and smart and good people. Time for our favorite, school. We better be at the very least all A's except for one, maybe two high B's. We also better still be in engineering, unless you found big money that engineering wouldn't help you with. It would be hilarious if we were already like a multi-millionaire. Anyways, I hope we got into a good college. Please man, tell me you did, we've worked so hard already. I also hope we got some awards and met some more smart people too. That's my dream right now. PERSONAL PART: So. We are most definitely alone right now. If not, I'll whip you. Hey, so, just some stuff I wanted to say. I really hope we're doing well, but if not, that's okay. And to be honest, things may never get better. But we gotta push through it alright. Remember to love yourself. I just want myself to know that, wherever we choose to go, we'll do great.
