Dear FutureMe,
When you read this you'll be turning 15. And also starting highschool. What a scary time! A time of change, fear, but also growth. I hope you still love your friends and family. I hope you have fun the rest of your highschool years. When you read this I want you to be reminded that COVID was extremely hard for you, and everyone else. It may be an odd thing to want to remind someone of but I think you'll need to be reminded you kept going even when you wanted to quit. When something isn't easy the first time it's difficult to get over but remember what Mom said, "Just because something is hard doesn't mean you get to give up and quit."
I hope by the time you read this you've cut and dyed your hair as you've always wanted, tried out for softball and volleyball, sneak out, and gone on a midnight walk. Do that thing you want to do because we only have so many days as a teenager and I want to live every single day like it's my last. Honestly, if you really want to don't be afraid to tell Mom and Dad you want to get your hair dyed crazy colors! Live every day like there's no tomorrow, and know to speak your mind even if your voice shakes.
Love yourself every day of the year. And love thoose around you just how God would. Highschool may be tough but you're tougher! I believe in you! And remember that angels don't live in hell so you may have to make yourself a heaven. Take care of yourself,
Past you
