A letter from Jun 19, 2022

Dear Future Me, hey! i heard about this website on a reddit post on youtube. did it work? anyways, looking back at this point in time probably will make you cringe. i get that, but hear me out. i heard about this and i thought it was really cool. sending your future self an email? thats so sick! here are some questions regarding who you are in touch with and some other things. are you still friends with myles and guy? aj and gunnar? molly and max (aka chloe)? are you gonna pursue my dream of becoming a band director? now heres some things that i want you to look back on. remember playing gacha online on roblox and just making fun of peoples avatars for fun? remember playing contrasto grosso in the 8th grade? i adore the second movement. i really want you to go back and take a listen for me. remember playing roblox with myles? all those fun games we played, all those arguments we got into, and how we went in different ways in terms of what games we like. and don’t forget guy and what we did together. we watched demon slayer, one punch man, we did so much that i dont want to forget, and i hope you dont forget anything that i did in this time. these 3 years in middle school have been really something, havent they? the 8th grade was my favorite. i was in touch with all my friends, and i just had some more time to relax and get to know my teachers. my favorites out of all my teachers were mr hilley, mr waterman, and señora laughlin. oh yeah! how are you doing with your spanish? anyways, mr hilley and mr waterman have done so many great things for me. i could never forget the amazing times i had when i walked into band class everyday. it was the greatest feeling. saying hi to chloe when we got our french horns out. we would play the ukrainian anthem with each other. ivan, you, and chloe played a trio called fanfare grandioso. you played the first movement of horn sonata by beethoven. you thought it was so hard, especially the end. there were so many great times and it’s making me all teary eyed. i want advise from you really bad on how to go through high school, but i know no matter how i do it, i will end up right where you are now, reading this email from 4 years ago. i wish you luck in college, and please, dont forget me.
