Dear Future Me,
If you still have your email, you'll be seeing this on your 18th birthday! Hope this is a big mile stone, how's grandpa? Is he still kicking? I hope so. What about grandma? Has she come back to live here yet? Have you moved? I doubt it, but I wonder where we'll go! Don't forget to bring MJ haha, she'll be 4 years old by the time we're leaving, I hope our bad habit of stealing has bettered, speaking of which, did we ever get a job at 16? Or learn how to drive? What about our mental health? I know that's been a pretty bad thing lately, especially with dad beating us down constantly, as grandma says, "misery loves company." And I'll admit I feely pity for dad, he's a ****** person, but he's been through the ****, so we have to give him some slack,, speaking of which, how has your opinion changed? On dad I mean, do you still feel the same? Do you do your best to love him? Or have you learned to despise him? Whichever you've done,, I'm glad you did what you did, you may not see it now, or even when you wrote this, but you're stronger than you think. Don't let dad beat you down. If he does just stand back up and show him that you aren't just a push over. Also, have you guys argued much? Recently it's been bad, maybe it's gotten better? Or does he still hate us? Also, check up on Toluca! Make sure they're doing alright, and make sure the girls are doing good as well, do you visit them? As of currently I'm still not sure if I'm going to see them over the summers or something. If you are, day hi to them and hug them. Oh! How's school? Did you graduate? Or is it like dad and grandma said? Did we finish or do we have one more year to go? If we managed to graduate,, congratulations! If not, keeping working hard! I know you're going to be told that you failed because you're lazy, but you're not, your mind is just ******, just a crumpled piece of paper with scribbles and rips. You aren't pretty mentally, at least not while writing this. The only reason you failed 9th grade is because of dad, you knew he hated you, hell, maybe still does. But when you know that stuff, it's hard to focus. I hope you took advantage of all the little things, make sure you always help any way you can. God, I hope this doesn't sound edgy, if it does, I hope this cracks you up at least.
Signing off with love,
14 y/o you.
