A letter from Jun 03, 2022

Dear FutureMe, I hope that when I graduate I can pursue my dreams and do what I’ve always wanted to do with my life. Sometimes I get scared that Everything isn’t going to work out the way that I planned but you know that will be okay. I’ve dreamed of working in the medical field for so long since I grew up helping sick family or just helping sick people in general. My intentions are to get good grades and graduate with a good GPA. My goals are to get into a good college and get a good job at a good hospital. I don’t have many problems except for the fact my math teacher won’t bring up my grade even though I’m doing good on my work. I like that if I put my mind towards something then I believe that I can get it done. I currently live with my mom, dad, brother, and my step dad and my brother actually just graduated high school and his graduation is tonight. My bedroom is a pretty basic white girl room. I have two dogs. My top favorite place to go right now would have to be Gordon’s or my cousins house because I go over there all the time and I’m always hanging out with her. I was born and raised in Crisfield, Maryland. Growing up is pretty hard and I know it’s gonna be even harder when I’m about to graduate but right now s a 13 year old it’s already hard so I can’t imagine what it’s like as I’m graduating. I should be 17 when I’m graduating. Honestly I don’t know if I did the math right but I’m too lazy to check. I’ve grown up with many figures in my life but there’s one I miss a lot since she passed away and that’s my grandma. She passed when I was young but she meant a lot to me and I always looked up to her and I would always take care of her my best when she was sick. Since I was born and raised In Crisfield I have gone to the schools down here. For elementary I went to Woodson Elementary School. For 6th grade I went to Somerset Intermediate School. For 7th grade I went to Living Hope Christian School. For 8th grade I’m currently in Crisfield High School and I hope to stay here for the rest of my years that I’m in high school. Even though Crisfield High isn’t the best school out there I have only been here for one year and I already am attached to it and I have no clue why but I know I would be sad if I left here probably because I would be leaving everyone. When I was growing up (even though I still am) it was very difficult because things would always go wrong and I would always look at the bad side of everything. I went through a depression and I don’t think people realize how difficult it is to go through until you’ve gone through it yourself. I’m growing better from when I was in those dark times and I’ve found my people and even though some of them are leaving right now I will always love them. My friends that I’m always hanging out with is Cadence, Payden, Brooklyn, Jolean, Peyton, and Alayna. I’m always with at least one of them.
