A letter from May 31st, 2022

Dear Big Me, Hello, I hope you had a really good time in high school and joined lots of clubs and found what you like. I hope you chose a very cool college too. If you haven't already can you please start a Youtube channel soon. Some ideas for it that I want to do right now are singing covers and vlogs. I hope you branched out and made friends in new activities like theater, singing lessons, dance, and volleyball. A favorite thing in my life right now are my friends, GSA, and I don't know what else. Kade just told me he put in his letter that he hopes he isn't still a virgin and gets man-******... Similar to that I hope (there are a lot of hope things dang) that you don't give into peer pressure or expectations if you don't want to do something. But also have some adventures but stay safe and do it with people that care about you. I know I want you to do a lot of stuff and make the most of your time but I hope that you took and continue to take breaks for your mental health. I support your decision in swimming, whatever it is because I know you did what was best for you. But maybe if you stopped you can pick it up again when you're ready. I hope you came out if you wanted to and it is okay and valid if your identity changes in the future. Don't beat yourself up about it. Okay, I think that's all because class is ending. (This was on the second to last day of 8th grade.)
