Dear FutureMe,
I am writing this to you as an 8th grader to see how much you’ve grown. I wonder what you are doing at the moment. I’m watching this old civil war movie in Mrs. Dorrell’s classroom which you probably might remember. Remember Mrs. Wallace for reception, or Mrs. Adams for 5th grade. You’ve probably forgotten many of them. Remember the time when you got in trouble for sliding into a kid on pavement, or when you almost got into a fight for kicking someone's ball on the roof. Remember 8th grade’s stem activity. Hopefully you are still in STEM. How’s statistics or calculus going for you? Is it hard? I heard that it’s pretty easy if you know the basics of Algebra and Geometry. Also what sports are you doing at the moment? Did you make the soccer team or are you interested in another sport? What are you planning on studying for uni? I wonder if you were interested in working with the brain or body as a job. Maybe a surgeon or a doctor. Or are you too afraid of the blood and gore that you will be seeing every single day. At the moment, mom is pregnant with a baby. Is it a boy? Are you still the only boy? The only piece of advice I have for you is don’t ever stop learning. Don’t drop out and always work on your math. Dad always says, “Math is the language of god.” Don’t ever forget that. Is high-school okay. How are the teachers over there? Are they strict or chill? How is technology in the future. Are the phones better? Or are they still the same with the 3 cameras? What car are you driving? How’s the family? And most importantly, how are Mom and Dad?
