A letter from May 25th, 2022

Dear FutureMe, You’re 18, graduate high school in 3 days and you’re the happiest you’ve been in a while. You’re friends are still ken and adriana, but also garret, Caden, Zoe, meadow, amanda, alyssa and Madison. Those are your closest. Coach Oyervides is your dawg💀 and got you through a lot your junior year. Hopefully that’s still like your big sister. Have we decided a career? Did we end up playing ball? Do we stay true to ourselves and always put our health first? Do we find love? Am i still black? Do you still want to adopt? Are we ***? in this time period you’re in a fight with Garrett, does it get better?(Asking random stuff lol) I hope in the moment that you are reading this you remember that it’s okay to not be okay, and that sometimes the world disappoints. The only thing we can rely on is God. Speaking of I hope he still in our lives. Don’t give up on him. Please don’t forsake him. Let him dwell in your life. Don’t doubt , but know his plan is confusing but mighty. By now i hope that your relationship with momma is good. And that you can talk to her without getting annoyed. I really do love her. Life is crazy, but girl you are too lol. I love us and i only hope the best for you Uyi. May God dwell on our lives and we live a Christ centered relationship forever. I love you so much. Stay true to yourself, be easy on yourself and remember, one foot in front of the other.
