Peaceful right?

dear future me, currents running stats- pole vault-10' 800-2:36 some odd seconds 1600-6:02.4ish 5k-2020:21.57 2021:22.20 I AM SO PROUD OF YOU FOR GRADUATING!! i know it probably felt like it went by fast, so i sure hope that you savored every last moment of it, made of most of the weekends, stayed up late with friends, woke up early to watch the sunrise, went swimming in the middle of the night and did even more amazingly fun and spontaneous things. i know it was tough but you made it! i hope you are happy at the new school! anyway as i am writing this i am in the last week of 8th grade. we are about to be done with this crappy school and have a fancy one. i think this year was pretty good as i tried to be a good person to make others have a good impression of me. this was my first year here and i think i went pretty well considering that i have no enemies. haha!! I have made lots of friends throughout the year but some of my main friends are the current seventh graders. they are reagan and kylie, i like sophie, the sophomores, martha, bri, natanlie, and kiyana. some of my friends my age currently are lexi, kaita, sophie.n i dont really have a best friend and i sorta get along with everyone. the day i am writing this is two days after the junior high elite meet in kasson. i took second in the meet with 9'. i didnt compete though-just work like question-why would you chose your mascot to be the ponies? no one can take you seriously! questions- 1. how is your last year at maple river? 2. have any new people came to the schools and have you made any new friend - i hope so 3. did you eve use slope or use anything you learned in math some questions about friends- 1. are you still friends with the cross country sophmores-bri, brooklyn, martha, natalie, and kiyana? 2. are laken and natalie dating yet? 3. currently, who are your main friends? 4. do you have any enemies? 5.boyfriend?? multiple? pole vault & running questions- 1. what is my pr-currently it is 10' but im not being very consistant? 2. am i still running the 800 or did jeremy make me do sprints 3. am i still doing discus-god i hope not but maybe??? 4. does cale ever not get injured? 5. does anything ever happen between me and cale-like do we get super close or anything like that? 6. is tyler still a hottie? 7. are there anymore super swaggy people joining cross country? 8. does julius ever come to public school and become sorta normal-like not touch my butt constantly? 9. do you still love pole vault? 10. have you qualified for state yet? RECAP OF THE YEAR---- i would have to say that i think this year started off pretty good considering it was my year at a new school. i started of the year by knowing a few people at school form summer run club. i met some pretty amazing people like bri, kiyana, martha, cole, izzy, and so many more super swaggy people. It was so much fun!! the school year started off pretty normal. i met lots of new amazing people and it was very hard to remember everyones name at first. i tried to remain in contact and still have relationships with my old usc firends, but ultimately we didnt have much in common anymore so we just grew apart. it can be sad at times, but i just remember that they taught me something and that somone else will come into my life soon and they will mean so much more. this cross country season was not my best in terms of my times, but it was definitely the best in terms of happiness and closeness with the team. although i am sure that pretty much anything would be better than my old coach. i got injured pretty early in the season so that kinda put a halt to me progressing. luckily i took the majority of the season easy and by the last few meets i was feeling a lot better if my times were slightly off from the year before. yes distance is very physical and you do have to be in shape. i was the most in shape i have ever been during my 7th grade season. but you also need to be strong and happy mentally otherwise you will not do well. i was not mentally happy during my 7th grade season. so i am very excited and happy to see how capable i am when i am feeling good mentally and physically. some of my fav memories from this cross country season are all of the spaghetti feeds including when bryce broke the swing. i also loved swimming at lura lake and minneopa falls. i loved all of the bus rides especially to and from milaca. milaca was such an amazing and fun experience and i cant wait to go again. also the state cc meet was so fun. it was great being able to see super duper zoomy people run. and we went to eagle bluff somewere in there. the food was lowkey nasty although the bread was bussin bussin. ropes course was super fun and i loved rooming with the people i did. i made amazing memories and became very close with some of my now amazing friends. then the cross country season ended and it was very sad. i lettered so that was fun though. i said i was going to run and try to stay in shape over the winter, but im assuming you know how that worked out. it got very cold this winter and it didnt even snow that much-what a loser of a winter. i got in a rut this winter of not really caring and struggling to get out of bed some days as i was constantly tired and mentally drained from the horrid weather. but i did do a few fun things over the winter i guess. i pole vaulted a lot-maybe too much. i went to one three day camp and went to a few open gyms and more than a lot of practices. but it did really help a lot as i started the season on my a game while it took the others multiple meets to get into the swing of things. i also ice fished a little with gabe as i was slightly obsessed with him but dont worry im over that now. otherwise nothing too exciting happened this winter. so now it was supposed to be spring but mother nature had other plans. in the middle of march the weather was in the 70s and amazing. this gave us great hope for what the spring would be like. unfortunately a few days ago-in the middle of may remind you- the high was 47 or sum like that. LIKE WHAT THE FREAK!! but anyway lets talk about this track season. as i said earlier the weather wasnt really cooperating. hopefully it gets better as we are preparing for the subsection meet.i have been getting a lot better but i havent been super constant as the weather conditions are kinda going crazy. my goal for this year is 10'4" as that is state qualifying and we have a really good section for pole vault. are you still happy with pole vaulting? currently i am in a hard place with pole vault-i love doing it but it frustrates me so much when i have mental blocks. i went into the season ready to get 10' 4" and go to state. then the weather threw major curveballs and because of that i was super duper inconsistent. so now i am lowkey stressing because i need to hurry up and get onto my new pole but my steps are off and ya. if i dont go to state i will be super disappointed in myself but at the same time going to state would be a lot of uneeded stress for me so i kinda need to decide whether or not i want to put myself through that. i also am stressed because i dont know if i will have enough time to get 10' 4" and my coach isnt purposefully putting pressure on me but he is putting lots of pressure on me and it is frustrating me. i normally am not so hard on myself but i feel this is an exception as i know i can do it as i have before and i just have to do it again. it all depends on whether or not i have a good day or a bad day! antoher thing i did this spring was go to true team state in stillwater! our boys team placed eigth out of twelve teams there. we didnt do the best because we have injuries floating around but other than that it was a great experience and was super fun. i was on a bus wit all boys so that was kowkey crazy but ya. cole did amazing at true team-HE WAS ZOOOMIN!! ethana also pred and set a new school record. and a coach for uw-river falls came up to me ad scouted me so that was kool. the bus ride was super fun and crazy. we ate a pizza ranch and saw cales name in the concrete. also do you still like cale or is he mid and ugly? what about tyler? did any boys in our grade have glow ups? i doubt it but who knows-maybe-anything is possible. now back to pole vault-what is your current pr- i sure hope you improved. one thing i know i will remember for this year is how amazing our boys sports were. someone wen to state in every boys team except basketball-and they were so close-only one game away. we have had an absurd amount of pep fests for everyone. had two just this past week. first was cross country, then football, wrestling, robotics, speech, ffa, track, spelling bee. i think that was it but knowing me i forgot some. COLLEGE--- i am assuming you are going to college-where? right now i havent really thought about it too much but if i had to chose i would probably chose SMSU or UW-river falls or someplace like that. if i am good enough at pole vault i would love to go to missouri and pole vault for the mizzou tigers. now about that aer you continuing your pole vault career? did you get a scholarship or are you just choosing to pole vault later. what are you majoring in? currently i am interested in either interior design or architecture or something like that although architecture uses math, which i hate so i dont know if i can do that. i seems cool though. MORe QUeSTiONs-- 1. prom??-who hopefully your dress was bright OBSeSSIONS -also thought i would include a few of my current obsessions 1. pole vault helmet 2. spike sand laces 3. stuffed animals 4. socks including buying way way to many socks for other people 5. drawing chickens everywhere 6. swaggy things 7. bright shorts also im assuming and i hope that i am a little but more mature by the time i graduate but honestly who knows at this point. anyways read this in 4 years your super swaggy bestie lauren mutschler
