A letter from May 19th, 2022

Adelyn Meuir 41 Henry St May 17, 2022 Dear Future Adelyn, Hey, you still slaying girlboss? Okay, period. So do you still play volleyball, or did you stop? I hope you continue to play, I know we really like it. Maybe by the end of highschool you could have a scholarship or maybe know what you want to do, career wise. I really hope we graduated to pretty good grades, I know you work hard to try and keep them up. I hope dad is feeling better, I know he won't really ever be fully over it, but is he doing a lot better? So with COVID-19, hoping the whole wide spread panic ended, I hope dad is doing good and doesn't have to really worry about it like we do now. And I know that you maybe don’t know yet, but did you ever find out what you wanted to do with your life. I have a lot of interests now about my career field, like still playing volleyball, acting, vet, zoologist, and FBI. I wonder what our goals are gonna be like when we’re about to graduate high school. Do you still wanna find somewhere to move in with faith like me and Faith always wanted? I really hope we get a cat if we do, it sounds like a lot of fun, together or not by that time. Did we have an after school job through high school? I know there is an Arby’s opening here soon, that would be so cool to work there. I'm looking forward to reading this in 4 years and having more freedom being pretty much an adult, is it nice? I know it's a kid show, and I’m 14 right, but Star Vs the Forces of Evil still better be one of your favorite shows, because that show is a masterpiece. By the way, do you still really like anime like we do now? Right now I really like Attack on Titan. I need to finish it but I always forget too. I hope the ending is good, did you like it? Disenchantment is another one of my favorites right now, it honestly slays. I'm like actually so funny, you better be laughing while reading this right now. I hope you still watch Big Brother with mom and dad, I know I still love doing that now. Speaking of Big Brother, my favorite games right now are Genshin Impact, Minecraft, and Roblox. While we are on the subject of favorites, a few things I really love to do is to go shopping with mom and friends like Faith and Haven, and dad sometimes if he ever goes, I also really enjoy all of those really fun taco villa trips before shopping, and I love the Atomic Squid. I still hope you and Faith find Bread Barber Shop funny, because it is hilarious, and kind of sus if you ask me. All in all, I hope our life is still filled with the people we love like Mom, Dad, Ethan, Faith, and Haven. I know we don’t really have a lot of friends right now, but Haven and Faith are all we need. I’m still guessing that you like taco villa, I really hope you still go shopping with all mom, dad and friends.
