Dear Future me,
By the time you get this you’re a senior now, was it hard? It has been four years in high school, how exciting and fun! Middle school must've been lightwork for a big senior like you. Currently you are two weeks away from graduating middle school. I’m wondering if you are happy with how you went through high school. Whenever you’re reading this I hope you have lived a content school life.
Right now I'm iron 3 12 rr, hopefully by the time you are a senior you're at least plat or higher. Logan, your twelve year old duo, is bronze 2 72 rr he’ll probably be diamond in like one or two years. Along with Logan you have other friends like Hannah, Christina, Dulce, Hena, Viko, Paisley, Gabe, Jason, Amy, Nelli, and Red. My biggest curiosity is if you’re still friends with them to this day. You’ll probably find me really nerdy for talking about Valorant in a letter about my future, but I'm sure that you’ll be even nerdier than you are now.
You survived middle school through your friends, they really made school fun and motivated me to keep going. As you grow older and you change you may have a different reason to go to school. Your plan for college is to go to community college and have a decent paying job, please not McDonalds. And when you are ready to go to college you have money from your uncle and savings to help pay for all the fees. If you don’t go to college I atleast wish you have a job, otherwise you’re surrendering a lot of money.
Any advice? If I were to talk to my past self I would tell her to keep doing Jiu-jitsu and not to give up. You, a wise senior, must have a lot of wisdom collected from future lessons. You have also changed a lot! How do you feel about all the changes you’ve gone through? Is it weird that you’ve seen yourself progress into a whole other human? If you don’t feel like you’ve changed a lot, that's a lie. Everybody has changed from middle school to high school even if it’s the littlest changes, but I doubt you’d stay the same. I’m so excited to make those tik tok videos from my past self to like now!
I believe the most important life lesson I have learned is that communication goes far. Communication is the key part to any relationship, whether that be romantic or even friendly. Without communicating how you feel, you may lose the connection with your friends, partners, or even family. This lesson will get you far no matter what age you are, even if you’re a grandma. Since you’re a senior and almost an old grandma, what lesson have you learned that you deem important?
What hobbies have you taken in? You saw a video this year talking about how this girl basically sees herself as an npc cause she doesn’t have any hobbies, and that just stuck with you. Currently, my hobbies are playing video games like Valorant, Roblox, Minecraft, and sometimes Rainbow Six Siege. You also quite enjoy walking to the store, probably your favorite thing to do after school. Recently you found the best place to get tamales, and since they're cheap it just makes everything better. Other than that you just go to school and breathe, it feels quite boring sometimes. I hope you have a bunch of hobbies now and truly know yourself.
We’re at the end of this letter, congratulations on graduating. Now you’re on a whole new chapter of your life, you’re progressing into a new person, learning new things, and meeting new people. If you ever read this make sure not to get the paper or screen wet, that's if this even gets to you. One goal I visualize for you is to stop being so embarrassed about everything, and to stop caring about what others think. I know you will get over this and probably be the best thing you’ve ever done. Once again, congratulations on surviving 12 years of school, enjoy adult life!
