A letter from May 16th, 2022

Time Travelled — over 3 years

Peaceful right?

Dear FutureMe, Hi!! I am currently a senior in high school and my last day of high school is in less than 2 weeks. I just finished writing a really long letter to my future self that will deliver nearer college graduation, but I wanted to make this one public for funsies. So basically this is gonna send on your 22nd birthday, which will be around the beginning of your senior year in college. I have no idea if you're even still in college and even if you aren't that's okay. Also happy birthday. And if you're still in college, which is currently the plan, hopefully you've managed to do what people in college seem to do, which is get internships or research positions or do some sort of thing called a thesis (again I have no idea at all how to go about doing these things. College is stressing me out and I'm not even in college). And hopefully you've figured out what you really want to do with your life. Everything is up in the air for me and I know college is where you're supposed to figure yourself out but it's still really stressful. Hopefully you have made some really good friends and hopefully you finally feel like you truly belong. i have some friends and I love them (and they love me as far as I can see) but I still don't feel like I can truly open up. I know people of my temperament aren't the type to easily open up but still. Hopefully you have found good friends and perhaps even a boyfriend/girlfriend. And hopefully you've been able to know what a kiss feels like. God this is kind of embarrassing ok bye I hope you're doing well. I need to finish my ap gov (and also my English homework) because RYAN decided that he was going to have a test this week despite us already having taken the ap exam. Which I'm not sure I even did so great on but we'll see...
