A letter from May 12th, 2022

Dear Future Me, this is 8th grade you. You are 14 years old you are around 5 ft. 6 in and your hair is boring, and the most important thing to you right now is soccer you are trying to win all your games and not do to d1 but you have already lost, won and tied three games. what I am most proud of right now is that I'm trying to do better at school and turn things and do good on assessments and tests and staying on top of work and trying to turn in missing's even though its 4th term and there is about two weeks left of school or somthin. What I want to be proud to be proud of in four years is hard to think of because i want to be proud of many things in the future but since I'm too lazy to list all of them ill round it down to two. The first thing I want to be proud of is making my high school team and at least play varsity at least one year I don't care if I'm J-V for three years which would suck but I just want to be in varsity 1 year or more. The second thing I want to be proud of in four years is working on my goal to go to college for business and get a degree in business so I can make big bucks. My biggest struggle for this eight grade year has been school turning stuff in and getting good scores on test and getting good grades, I think if I was more motivated at the beginning of the year or even the beginning of this term I could have met the goal I set but now I'm motivated to do better because I now that the rate I'm at by not doing my work and getting bad grades wont get me where I want to go in the future, but being motivated now doesn't really do much help to me since school ends in a couple of weeks but I just remember this motivation next year and I know I will do better. My predictions for how me, my family and friends, or the world will change in the next four years is that it will be really different. I will be older and bigger if I keep going to the gym my brothers and sisters will probably be moved out I hope I keep the good friends I have and make new ones, I hope by then ill have a cool car and the gas prices will lower so I don't have to pay a lot of money because I probably wont have a high paying job by then.
