Time Travelled — about 4 years

Peaceful right?

Dear FutureMe, I’m writing this a bit less than three weeks away from graduating high school. I’m currently hoping to get a job at citi, which I basically have but I don’t want to get my hopes up. I’m planning on going to TWU (or UTD- the choice is stressing me out, and I’m still on the waitlist for UW) and being roommates with Allyson. I hope you’re still friends with her, she’s really great. Speaking of friends, I’m closest to Allyson, Kira, Lorena, Niz, and Lucy probably in that order. Faith and I have kinda had a falling out and I don’t know what the future holds. I hope you have a friend group that you love, or at least a best friend you feel close to. I know we’ve always done better in one on one friendships and small groups. I was diagnosed with ADHD a few months ago and I’ve been wondering if I actually have ASD, or both. Hopefully you have more insight than I do, 22 year old Liv. Do we still go by Liv? Olivia? Idk. I’m at a point in my life with a lot of change and you probably are too if you’re about to graduate college. Am I graduating now? Have I already graduated? Did I drop out to work? Have I applied to PhD programs? Is that still what I want? What’s my degree in? You know we’re very uncertain and that uncertainty brings anxiety. I hope that you now get some calm reflecting on the answers to my now questions. Please take care of yourself. It’s really hard to right now, and I hope it’s easier for you to when you read this, but I have hope, so I hope future me will too. Keep going girl. You’ve made it this far, might as well. Drink some water. Tell a friend you love them. Tell family you love them. Give yourself a big ole hug from 18 year old liv. I love you <3
