Dear FutureMe,
I hope you have realized what a gem you have in Kevin and have finally married him by now! In fact, you should be well on your way to starting the new family at this point (tick tock tick tock). Did you ever return to Europe with Kevin?
Do you still let him know how special he is and how much he means to you? Don't fall into that old practice of taking him for granted, that is always your downfall with relationships. Stop emphasizing his weaknesses and remember the happiness in his voice when he once told his buddy on the phone that he was in love and it was a wonderful thing (I'm sure the buddy was gagging lol). Always remember how he held you tight and the two of you cried together when we had to say goodbye before he shipped off to Iraq. And always remember the happiness, and great expectations we had when he returned home.
By the way, did the two of you ever get the basement in the new house refinished? What about the ugly wall paper throughout the entire downstairs--is that gone now?
I hope you scrapbooked the best moments over the past couple of years. As of Jan 2006, you have a lot of blank scrapbooks laying around (two years should be plenty of time to have at least one done by now).
