Dear FutureMe,
So when this letter gets to you, you should be 25. Four years can change a lot. And I really hope it was all for the better.
Okay so I’m gonna tell you where were you when you were writing this. You could not wait for your 21 birthday and for exam season to end. University really stressed you out. And didn't make that much sense. You knew you needed to have a degree cause otherwise you would probably have to work in really low paid job. But this all thing is too stressful and if you could you would quit it like yesterday.
You were in love. I really really hope you are still. Because he is the one. I know that. I really hope you still have him and I am literally praying. Because I want to have him forever. I hope you finally live together and don’t have to say goodbye on literally every Sunday. But mostly I hope everyone is alright, good healthy and happy. I really want to have all the people I currently have in my life because I really love everyone. Your parents, your friends and him. Everything was perfect in this moment.
And I hope you are okay. Right now your mental health is not really okay. You know you should probably go to psychologist because you have bad nights sometimes and really dark thoughts. And you cry a lot. Literally have a moments when you can’t stop and just cry for hours. You also thing something is wrong with you. You are feeling something in your throat but dreding to go to the doctors and just hope it’s okay. I hope you are okay.
I just finished reading one of these letters from 2017. And I said some hurtful stuff to myself. I didn’t know they would hurt but they did. So I won’t do the same. It is okay whenever you are in life. It is okay if you failed University or if you are in a ****** job. I am happy you are alive. Everything else I fixable. I wish you have found the answers you don’t have right now. But you are still young. You don’t have to know it all. Just please don’t ever stop trying. Be bold, be confident and say what you really mean. You don’t really do that that often. Reach out to people you really want to. Tell your parents you really love them and that they really mean the world to me. Tell him that too. It will be okay. I know it will.
With love,
Me
