A letter from Jan 30th, 2022

Dear FutureMe, You should be 18 by now. I don't know if you still use this email, but then again, I don't really plan to see this letter again. In the 4 years between the date I wrote this letter and the day I get this email, I hope you have changed. I hope that you won't hear that you have always been a spoiled, weak, entitled, conceited, or whatever my immature *** is/was. I don't want to realize that I haven't stepped forward since 14 March 2020. I'm sick of being afraid of being the same person I don't wish to be. I hope you don't cry for the smallest reasons nor try to tough out unreasonable situations. Hopefully, you're not the same person I am, nor will be someone I don't look up to.
