A letter from Jan 14th, 2022

dear me four years from now, how’s it going?? are you doing well? better?? i just found out im on academic probation. :( it stings more because i had recently opened a past letter from a week before high school graduation wishing me luck with college. this is really not where i pictured myself to be. although i do see this as a wake up call. and im determined to get my **** together. my question to you is, did i make it?? am i pulling through?? did YOU pull through??? my plan right now is to take less classes because clearly 4 classes and 35 hours a week and a boyfriend is too much for me and im toning it down a notch. i really hope i make it with A’s this time, and i hope i can maybe still get out in less than 5 years. i hope you are finding yourself in a good place. i hope things are better. i hope that by the time this letter gets to you, you’re graduating or at least about a semester or two away from graduating. i hope you’ve finally left home, i hope you’re with destin still, and if not, **** him i hope you’re with someone better or **** everyone and you’re better off yourself purrrrr but yea. i don’t know what else to say butttt yea basically i heard a lot of successful people were on academic probation their first semester of college and consider it a “much needed wake up call” sooo maybe you can prove that statistic right lol but frfr, i hope you’re in a better place rn. from me, january 2022
