A letter from Jan 5th, 2022

“Wow! Senior year, huh? I cannot believe that it is 2026 already, it seems like I was just writing this letter yesterday in 2022. You want to know what i look like, well you already know you are me! But just to refresh your memory i am a little bit above average height have level hair on all sides until i got it cut of course seeing as i have only been in grade 8 for 10 days i can not tell me how my year went, i look forward to training in the summer i hope that you are keeping up with your training or should i say me. Who i am i? I am you the one and only vinny ilunga i like to write and make stuff and to game but don't forget about our goal to bring peace to the world through love the only obstacles standing between me and that goal is time i hope you have already started working towards that goal but don't forget failure is just a set back! We have come so far since we began,can you believe you are graduating already! but don't get arrogant yet we still have a long way to go before life in south africa was good it was way warmer it was fun except the mosquitoes just think about it we have family all over the world in South africa,in Congo and nw here in the US what a time to be alive during a pandemic i hope you have a girlfriend now after countless failures that would be nice for a change and this time you better would have come up with something other than an animation or chocolate. The people in my life most importantly my siblings and parents as they are the only ones in the country but then there are my extended family and close friends in south africa they are still my friends i don't know if they will still be my friends by the time you receive this letter then they are my teachers who wished me all the best over the past few years i hope you begin to understand why you went through what you did and how they impacted your life. Outside of school i am an animator a runner an author a gamer and a maker (yes that is a word for people who makes things) :-) remember how we won the spelling bee and that dance we coded in scratch you may have forgotten the password it is 123456 hehehehehehe. I hope by the time you get this you have picked up two languages. What? I mean you already know 3, two more could be useful to the missionary. I hope you also have not started cursing you never have and i hope you never will now that you are gonna be an adult by this time i hope you get a girlfriend but don't forget to study theology first i do hope you become i splendid pastor ;-) If there is one thing i can tell you is that it is not over until you quit and if it does not **** you it only makes you stronger. by yours truly vinny ilunga
