A letter from Dec 26th, 2021

Hey ***** aka future me!! As you know, I’m writing this letter to see if I’ll remember to check it, see how much I’ve grown, and have an intense amount of nostalgia. It’s 12:45am as I’m writing this, and Christmas was a few hours ago lol. Right now, I’m listening to music, yk one of our million playlists bc we couldn’t decide on having just one. This playlist is called “***** for these songs ngl”, I suggest you go back and listen to it. Ah right, you know that one show we used to watch on repeat? The h2o just add water? Yeah I’m watching that right now. Tbh this is where my intense anger issues came from bc of that ***** Charlotte. Anywaysss, I set this date for 3/17/26 and this is a major year for us. We are finally a senior, can you believe that? Not only are we graduating, we are finally an adult. But before we reminisce and I show off my grammar skills, I got a few questions.. maybe a lot of questions so please answer them and write back. ———————————————————————————————— Are we dating someone rn? How many people have we dated and who? Have we fixed our issue with Cash or have we dropped him? Are we still friends with Christine? Have we come clean to her? (I’m quite scared to know) Still friends with Dylan? If so, I hope he’s good he deserves the world.. and a gf Lost our v-card yet? Did our manifestations come true? How’s it being a senior? Do we still do marching band? Are we drum captain or section leader? Have we switched instruments? Mrs. Dorsey still directing? Are we still a straight A student? What college have you applied to? Were we able to study abroad for a semester or week? Did we ever tour Europe with Mom? Speaking of mom, how is she? I love her very much Would I be disappointed in you right now? Are we happy? Is 2026 anything like we imagined? Are we healthy? How’s our relationship with you know who? Did it fail or is it okay? Is the rest of our family good? Like grandma and grandpa? I hope so. (Tbh idk what to ask just inform me on things you think are important now and answer those questions!!) ———————————————————————————————— Sorry, I’m sure that was a lot and it was probably annoying to read. Are you feeling the main character right now? Bet you are, hope you take a deep breath and smile when your done reading this, yk how they do it in the movies. I’m thinking of creating a memory box to go with this, lmk if I did it. Honestly I don’t know if this was a dumb idea but I’ll look back on it and either cringe or be somewhat glad. Futureself, I hope your okay and don’t just focus on school and I hope you have all the fun you can. Oh right, are we still going to school to become a radiologist or did you switch? Ngl I have such a deep curiosity about our future with Christine and Dylan, maybe because it’s online it might end but I really hope not, please please please let me know if things are okay between us. Omg yeah I manifested us having this specific friend group, did it work?? It’s 1am now, I’m not sure what else to write but I wanna put so much because it’ll be 5 years from when you read this. Let me see what else I can see if you remember or still use.. Is discord still a thing? Or have we switched platforms? Is it just as toxic.. How’s tiktok or do we also have something new? Are we still friends with Addison, Brie, Taytam, Natalie, Ethan, Emma, Rachael, and Chloie?If not who was toxic, who did we break apart from, and was it for the best? I know we aren’t on the best terms with chloie and I kinda swore that if we weren’t on good terms by 11:59pm on New Years i’d drop them.. how did that go? Especially with Cash. - **** I didn’t know it’d be this awkward or hard to ask these many questions but I hope you fill me in. That’s all I had to say tbh so to end it all off… To my future self, I’ll always be proud of you even if ur like “omg why did I do that I’m so cringy”. Wherever we are, it was for the best just keep doing what’s good for us and allow us to live our life. Let’s be happy and live happily because that’s all I want for us. Money and happiness LMAOAOOA. But I kinda disregarded the most important thing on this entire letter. HAPPY BIRTHDAY!! 🎊🎁🎂🎉 It’s your 18th birthday when your reading this, your an adult and we’ve come so far.
