A letter from Dec 26th, 2021

Dear FutureMe,  Hello! It's me, your 13-year old self. I just want to send you this message to be read when you are already 18 years old. I wrote this message out of nowhere. I just wanted to remind you of the things you'd been hoping, dreaming and waiting for when you were me.  First of all, I would like to thank you for being there, trying to fulfill my wishes and dreams. It hurts that I wouldn't be able to live how you are living your life now but I am happy and proud of you. I will always be.  I'm hoping that every problem I've had here has been fixed in there, and if not, well, life is sucks, maybe next time for the both of us. I hope you already had the strength to face reality and leave your comfort zone, and keep in touch with the reality. I sincerely hope so. Please don't let me down. I hope you already have a stable life because to be honest that is what your dreams are made of. You were dreaming and hoping for stability mentally, physically, emotionally and even financial stability. If ever that my dreams for you had been granted, might as well buy me a treat for granting these to you.  Also, if you have enough luck, then you might be living together with mom in her hometown, living the fullest and studying in a good university where tuition costs an arm. Haha you should be thankful if you are really in this situation and maybe better luck in your next life if you don't. I hope you took Architectural as your course or if didn't at least had chosen on being a Doctor, Nurse, Pharmacists, Architectural Engineering, Interior Designer, Lawyer, Chef or Business Woman, and if you choose none of all the choices, I swear, I'll be mad at you at first but later on agree with your choices because I know if it talks about the future, you wouldn't let yourself down. You have so many reasons and dreams. I know you'll have one to explain to me.  And, don't forget what you swore when you were a kid! DO NOT GET A BOYFRIEND UNTIL YOU GRADUATED, WORKED YOUR *** OFF TO EARN 7 DIGITS ON YOUR BANK ACCOUNT, AND HELP YOUR FAMILY. I swore to God I will never forgive you of this! I couldn't take the shame! I'm sure as hell you won't be needing to eat for the rest of your life anymore because your mouth and stomach is full of promises you swore you wouldn't break!  And uhm, if ever my dream about learning and starting to vlog had been fulfilled, please say hi for me to your subscribers. Please tell them how proud I am of you for granting my 13-year-old-wish. If you continue writing, please tell your readers about me too. I would love it if you'd bring me into your books and tell them the struggles I had to give lessons to them. I hope you are also still into arts, learned how to crochet and developed new hobbies. I hope you'll learn to speak French and Spanish too because that's what I am planning and thinking of at these times. I also hope you've mastered the English language as well because your English sucks sometimes.  If you don't like my music taste anymore, then you're a jerk for not following in my footsteps in music! Remember, the honey album of Artemis Orion? Do play that for me, okay? Also, I would like to take this opportunity to ask if you still remember The Only Exception by Paramore? What about the Your Guardian Angel by The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus? The Paper Planes by Eline? How about songs of Taylor Swift and Adele? Are you still listening to it? It would be embarrassing for me if you've forgotten! Listen to it now!  Anyways, moving on to that, I wouldn't want you to cry on your birthday but, there's something in me itching to make you cry because I'd been crying recently of things that sucks here in my time, I hope you're not crying frequently of things that hurts, things that stresses you and those frustrations, I know crying is good in letting out your emotions but please wag mo namang ulit-ulitin. Please, be strong enough for me, for yourself. Stand on your own. Never give up, like how I am not giving up on life now.  Remember: DO NOT GET YOURSELF A BOYFRIEND IT IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED I WILL HAUNT YOU IN YOUR DREAMS IF YOU DIDN'T EVEN FOLLOWED ANY OR THOSE THINGS I WANTED FOR YOU BEFORE YOU GET YOURSELF A BOYFRIEND  Just please remember those struggles I had for you to get where you are in. Stay humble. Take care of yourself mentally, physically, and emotionally. Never do things that could hurt you. If things hurt, do not give up. I will always be there by your side. Also, remember to take risks especially at times where it is needed. It isn't bad to take risks. Never be afraid and accept the outcome no matter how good or bad it is because of the choices you have made. In the end, take note that He will always be there by your side, helping you, guiding you. He will never leave you and let you down like I would do.  I love you! Happiest 18th Birthday, my love! Take care! I'll see you on the other side. <3
