A letter from Dec 6th, 2021

Dear FutureMe, ( Remeber that you started this letter twice) Hey Anika, It's Anika! well the 2021 version of yourself, but you're so different now. I hope that you are happy and feeling like you are doing something that matters. I know that we decided to switch to nursing from HR because we didn't think that we were making any difference in the world and that Healthcare was one way that we could do that. What a run on sentence lol! Will I hope that we've worked in oncology and peds by know, maybe we decided to not be a midwife but if we did how cool is that!?! You are currently seating in class for your LPN 1st term! I hope by now you have your BSN and plenty of certificates (do you still say this the jamaican way lol) Your currently sad because you met a guy that you thought you had a future with but sadly while the chemistry is there, Jesse just doesnt hit all the other things. Do you even remember Jesse, Look him up, he's probably married by now Jesse Igbokwe and How is Georgino Louis (Joe) We havent had *** yet but I know he's going to blow ur mind. While our romantic life sucks, at least we're finally on a better path. I hope you have finished or are still in therapy and you're on correct meds because you need it Anika, its hard to admit but its getting harder for you to get out of those gray clouds. I hope Nichole is married with a second child by now lo I bet she has a girl and dont know what to do because she is just like Khanisa! Is Khanisa and Nick married? I honestly feel like they may make it and I hope they do. Tiffany and Marcus probably arent in Texas anymore, I wonder where they end up and I hope they are still together. I know that all my sisters are going to be successful in whatever career filed they choose to pursue. I hope I have taken my mother on a trip to costa rica, she deserves it. How is bad behind Cali? is she spoiled and fat lol I love that dog but lord is she too much sometimes but other times she licked my tears when i cried and was always there for me to cuddle with. Are we in love? He better not be white! ANY RACE but WHITE ANIKA. What state are you in now? are we still in New York? Did we every move over Savvy bistro area? that really should be your bar. Whatever you have going on, i hope that you are happy. We have had too many dark clouds and too many times when we thought what if I wasn't here. By now we've realized our attachment issues and hopefully we've stop falling for the wrong guy lol. But I'm proud of you and I love you. Don't forget to write to 43 year old Anika. Kisses and Hug
