A letter from Nov 30th, 2021

Dear FutureMe, I am in 8th grade now. I feel like I have grown a lot since last year, and have realized and learnt a bit more about myself. I have tried many things, and they haven't worked, so I am finding out about myself. Julian broke up with me. Twice. But I'm finally over it. Honestly this time. I have a HUGE crush on Jack, and I've done so much useless research on our zodiacs, he's a libra, I'm a gemini. According to almost everything, we're either best friends or soulmates. He's such a good friend and I don't want to ruin that. It always warms my heart, when CHOSE to sit at my table in Geometry, because I didn't move, and he chose to sit there. And in science, we both always go up to the front of the class and sit together. In orchestra, we sit together the whole year. In ELA, Mrs. Brown must know SOMETHING because we sit directly next to each other. I know you're a senior in high school already. Wow, TIME FLIES! Do you remember even writing this? Or do we write any others? I'm thinking about writing one like tomorrow to ourself 1 year from now. Don't mind my grammar. It's nasty. Now, I don't want to like, make you cry or anything (too late? \__(^-^)__/ ) BUT. I'm going to ask you some questions. Are you still friends with Hailey/Elliot/Ells/whatever the **** their called? What about Madison? Brooklyn? Maggie? Do you have any new best friends? Is it still awkward between you and Julian/Coral? Did he/they/whatever idek anymore come crawling back yet? I hope not... Did you or Jack confess to one another that you like each other? Did it go horribly wrong? Or did you guys date and break up? Or are you going to get married? Or are we friendzoned?? (PLEASE I HOPE NOT _---(T-T)---_ ) Do you know what you want to be when you grow up yet?? Are your grades okay? Last one. Are YOU okay? And I'm actually being serious on this one too, not "I'm not okay I promise" but ACTUALLY... Remember. You got this. I don't, but you do. Or maybe not, but STILL! Probably better than me at this point. I believe in you, even when you don't. Also: Did we do the thing we promised where we would ask Jack out/confess we like him on Valentine's Day??
