Dear FutureMe,
By the time you receive this message you will hopefully be a full-fledged teacher and on the right path to teaching your students to the best of your ability. It has been crazy so far with all the new developments in the world especially with Covid-19 and the down spiral our country has taken. Though the world may seem advanced there is still this segregation and alientation of people, which makes it hard to get them the help they may need. But we are strong and I hope that it has gotten better over the years. Social Justice has been a developing subject recently that needs more shine lighted on, you need to make it your mission to teach your young students that no matter your race, ethnicity, gender, age, ect. that we all deserve equal opportunities, social, political, and economic rights. And most importantly to treat each other with respect regardless of the diversity that they may encounter, because being diverse is what makes every single one so unique and important and beautiful in their own way. Work hard and don’t get too lazy, love yourself and those around you, and enjoy life and don’t hold too many grudges. Hope this crazy world takes turns to better itself and do your best to help in the process.
Sincerely,
Brokensunroof21
