A letter from Nov 4th, 2021

Dear FutureMe, This is candylove 2021 writing to you, I hope that you have accomplished everything you wanted in life. The teaching career, the family and having your dream house. I hope you are happy teaching elementary students and I really hope you are making an impact on them. I hope that you are treating everyone equally and giving everyone the same opportunity because at the end of the day you are here for them. Social Justice is such an important aspect of teaching please do not forget that and always have constant reminders. Social Justice for me means giving your students the same opportunity to better themselves. Try to open the doors too many children who feel left out in education especially our ESL learners. Make your classroom a no judgment zone where everyone can express themselves, ask questions without feeling afraid to do so and always go out of your way to help them. Have high expectations of your students, make sure you know each and every one of your students goals so you can lead them in the right direction and help them accomplish their goals. Try to make your classroom as fun and Interactive as possible but don't forget about social justice which is the most important aspect of teaching. Remember why you wanted to become a teacher. You wanted to make a difference in the education system by first starting to make a difference in your classroom. I hope you have made some kind of difference in every one of your students lives.
