A letter from Oct 30th, 2021

Dear me, Hope you’re doing well, I’m just in the starting phase of my grade 12 year and things are looking good. I’m very excited for you explore what’s ahead. I’m sure you might be scared but think about how much you’ve already accomplished the goals you have lying ahead. My question is what’s possibly the worst that can happen? Create something for yourself. I’m proud of you for graduating highschool. I know how troublesome some days of class were, worrying unnecessarily about marks and becoming part of the top kids in class. But in the end it really dosen’t matter. I hope by the end of highscool you were able to get a better perspective of things that matter in life. Cause it’s always something I struggle witht today. Should I put more time into the passions which I believe will play a bigger role in my life or should I stay aligned to the traditional learning path. Well that’s a decision for you to make. At the end of the day what truly matters in family, happiness and fining belonging in your work. I have big goals for you, and one thing I have recently learned throughout these past years is that you and I are a multipotentialite. We will always be curious by the ever growing world around us, never let the curiosity fade away. That’s essential component of our identity. Along side that maintaining our relationship with our family should always be a critical part of our daily lives. Curerenly I believe my relationship with my Brother. Sister, and parents are pretty good. I wanna keep it that way and grow as a role model to them. Finally to reiterate this point, work on what bring you passion, skills and world needs to gather. Currently there are so much skills and experiences I look forward to, but keep in mind the main ambition which started all this, my love for filmmaking. I have recently been reflecting on why I wanna make money, create priejcts, and put them out in into the world. It turns out it all started with my goal to be a creative. Even if I’m not doing that through a traditional means I would love to pursue that without it ever being anything more than a passion or hobby. So make a bunch of money through utlizing my curiosity, skills, and abitkites then put that the passion or finding belonging. Imagine if amazon started prime video just to fulfill Bezos’ passion.
