A letter from Oct 20th, 2021

Dear FutureMe, I just finished watching the series called 'The Crown' and because I couldn't not move on from this series, I started to watch documentaries about it. Princess Diana really fascinates me. The documentary 'Diana: In Her Own Words' made me cry so much. The one thing that I really remember about what she said was that her greatest achievement was not to bow down to the pressure. I have decided to not have a family ever (not because I don't want to, it's because I can't, as I am not too privileged to have one. I don't want my child/ren to have a miserable and dull life like my life has been.) and instead of having a family, I will focus on taking care of other children, orphans perhaps. This is my way of not bowing to the pressure of poverty. I know I will have short life (because of my pneumonia) but I want to start having an impact on others just like Princess Diana have an impact to me (a 19 year old Filipina that was born 5 years after she died). I also want to be able to do anything I want, even if alone but just not lonely.
