A letter from Oct 17th, 2021

Dear FutureMe, This is me 5 years ago in my Freshman year. A little flashback, right now I'm sitting on my bed in my dorm. Up late of course since last night I went out and had dinner with Mom and Zach at the cheesecake factory, then watched james bond with Juan and Juan and played mariokart with my roommate till 2 in the morning. :) College has most definitely had it's downs so far, and the lows have been very low, but the highs have been up there too. I've been trying to avoid thinking about my future, but I guess this is where I can address you now. I just hope that maybe in 5 years, you have a good idea of what you want to do with your life, that you've found something to make you happy and you're running with it. Even if you haven't, I guess thats still ok too. Right now I'm stuck in a ravine of indecision, but I'm hoping that someday, even if not in 5 years you'll know where you're going. I hope you're still around too. Just always remember that no matter what I, and your family, will always love you. Go do great things. Sincerely, Ethan
