A letter from Oct 13th, 2021

Dear future Ashley, It has been a tough years, but you pushed through and persevered. I am so proud of you. It can be a hard and tough year to push emotional handles, but instead of failing and giving up they lifted you up and you used this empowerment to yourself. You showed and proved them wrong when there was a time that they doubted you in all ways. No matter what the static and disbelieving they showed you, be proud of what you have achieved. You have worked so hard to get in this position and becoming who you truly are, that you deserve every minute of that. Your stability does not come from your plans or your ability to manage things so that everyone around you is comfortable, safe and happy. Your value does not need anyone or needed by others. It is hard to get here? Of course, it is a yes, I am truly proud of what you have achieved and become. You had yourself fighting till you reach your dreams to the stars. I hope by this time, you discovered the happiness that you are wishing for. That this time you discovered your passion about and loving the major subject that you have chosen back when you were in college. It is important that you are happy and loving the job you always wanted, do not give up and keep reaching for the stars that you still have not achieve. I know that you are not happy when you were in first year college taking course that you really love but the major you chose is not what you want. Yet, look at yourself now, a graduate student of Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila in the degree of Bachelor of Education with specialization in English and a license professional teacher. You are the braver and tougher person I know, you would not be there if you chosen to failed all of the times that you are struggling in some matters. Moreover, you are a better person I know than before, you are a person who focuses for your future and focuses on fulfilling the lights of your stars. I know that the people around you are proud because you already reach the first star that you dreamed to achieve. I hope that the number one person/special someone that who always believes and rooting for you is still there, giving you the best support that she can give when no one was there to believe in you. That the thing in both of you remains in love, bolder and stronger as you two reaches the stars.
