Dear FutureMe.
I know,
I am an artist, I see myself as a fashion designer. I’m encouraged to write about how I want to start this journey on how I want to take fashion classes and learn from other designers on how to move into this profession. I’m interested in painting with my mother and sketching different clothes/shoes. Going into my senior year trying to really focus on what I want to do after high school. I’m not going into school right now because of a program I’m going to for therapy.
The challenges I’ve been through that have helped shape me to who I am today, of course have been tough. I have learned a lot from what problems I’ve been through and they have helped me understand my goals. Getting in trouble with my parents and school growing up has had me look back and see what I want to accomplish. This school year I want my grades to improve and make good memories with my teachers. I know my life during graduation will be one step closer to my fashion career.
In five years I see myself learning and becoming more creative than I already am. Whatever I’m doing right now, I know both of my parents are still here. A couple days ago my great grandmother just passed away and my older brother couldn't be with the family. He just became a U.S. Marine and I couldn’t be more proud of him. This year has been a crazy one but I learned what love really means and how friendship carries on.
In conclusion, I feel that my senior year will be better than my past year of high school after I finish the program I started. Lifes too short, and I’m thankful.
