Time Travelled — almost 5 years

Peaceful right?

Hannah, Today you were in the car with her. Library parking lot, sun in our eyes and her face glowing so beautifully. You kiss her. And you kiss her again. Sweetly, lovingly. A man walks by from his car in a couple parking rows in front of us and waves to roll our window down. “That was so beautiful.” “Love is so beautiful.” The kindest and most surprising words you’d ever hear from someone in the middle of a library parking lot in the middle of central Texas. “Get good grades, save money, and just love.” Thank you, I say. Speechless, and yet leaving so much in those few words. Love truly is so beautiful sir. Love and kindness and compassion and support and happiness. LIFE is so beautiful. Even with all the monsters and problems, there is so much love in this world. So many good, amazing, kind humans that share and spread that love. Thank you, stranger. Thank you for making me so happy. Thank you for showing us love and support through your simple words and actions. Thank you. Truly, thank you. I don’t know where you’ll be when you get this. I don’t know where she will be either. But love is so beautiful. Love truly conquers all. Love wins. It always wins. -17 year old you:)
