A letter from Sep 23rd, 2021

Hey Oldie! Here is a letter from your young 18 year old self, ya know, back when you were fun. I have some questions for starters, have you moved out? How mentally stable are you? How are the kids? I hope you're doing okay. I have no idea what year I'll be sending this to. I might send this to twenties and another one for when you're THIRTY! It feels so far away. I still have absolutely no idea what I'm doing with my life and, honestly, I cant look too far into the future. It feels so weird, like a dream. I'll focus on getting to twenty, thank you very much. It must be so weird, hearing from you but at 18 and things change sooooo quickly. I don't realllllly know what I'm suppose to write. I'm doing Creative Writing at Uni and just started dating someone new. I wonder what you're doing now. That's so freaking weird. Like, right now I can barely see what I'm doing next year, let alone a few years into the future. I want to be a teacher but I'm not sure if I'm gonna be able to do it. I hope I can actually finish a book at some point. I do hope you still know how to have fun because right now, I am so much fun. I'm a freaking hoot. Please stay fun. But classy! Don't forget to be classy. Please don't embarrass me too much. Thats all I ask. Also, please tell me you have at least one cat by now. And your freaking license! Holy ****, I just realised... The future is so open. I am only 18. I have no idea what you ae doing right now and the thought that you exist at this point in. the future is shocking. So weird. Anyway, byebye.
