A letter from Sep 21st, 2021

dear future me, hiya! just here to pop in and say hello, bet you remember me quite vaguely. it’s me, your 8th grader self. right now it’s the beginning of 8th grade, still kinda shocks me that about 3 weeks of school has past by already. anyway just asking, are you still friends with jenny, jenifer, and frog? and ofc kipper too, i really hope so. i’d really rather not lose any close friends along the way. if you guys did end up falling apart, just know that your old memories are precious, and you can always make new ones. anywayyy, how’s your love life? you got a boyfriend or girlfriend yet? or maybe even an ex? if you did end up finding a partner, make sure to tell them that your past self wanted to say hi. hmm ig i could tell you how school went today, it was pretty ordinary tbh. i did end up talking to this 7th grader who was pretty out going and friendly, hopefully i’ll be able to befriend him, i’m kind of the quiet girl loner in my class since most of my friends are in high school lol. you probably still are kinda lonely, but you most likely gained some more friends your age. yeah, anyway just jamming to the spotify playlist jenny made me. it’s playing through and through by khai dreams rn. well anyway, ig i should head off now. i hope your days in 12 grade will be good, see you on the other side ! yours truely, lisa september 20th, 2021
