A letter from Sep 14th, 2021

Dear Future me, I’ve been having a rough time through this break up with Trey. I want to believe that not all relationships are meant to be forever and that they have to complete to learn something. What did you learn from it? Are you guys still on good terms? Did we open the spa we thought we would? Im just about to start esthetician school so hopefully that will distract me from the pain. I call Jordan every day because I have no friends here and she always seems to know what to say. Trey said to me “maybe one day in the future.” Because we have a lot of separate growing to do. To be honest, that feels like an excuse for him to go “shopping.” I learned that term a couple days ago looking through advice online. Guys put you in their shopping basket and walk around with you until they find something else that peaks their interest, and never really buying you. I want someone to buy me- and not just someone of course- someone who I can love forever and who will treat me like their forever partner. Someone who wont give up on me. Im strong, I am smart, I am beautiful. Whatever you are going through today, I hope you’re handling it 10x better than the me from yesterday.
