Dear FutureMe,
It's ya boi, pre-present.
I'm currently in the UTS Cafe Club R U Okay day meeting.
I've been asked to ask myself 4 questions, for my future self to answer.
Let's begin.
1. What do hope to have achieved?
In the duration of 5 years, I hope to have completed my degree or be near to completing it (no expectations). I hope I have a few passive income streams which have allowed me to achieve a sense of independence. And lastly, I hope to have started saving a pool of money for my future cafe. And maybe I've started that podcast I always wanted. Making content with friends, and having a fried but fun time.
2. What do you hope you're future surroundings are like?
I hope in future, that a lot has changed. For a long time, my view of everything was very bleak, black and white, monotone if you will. You know, as well as I know how it feels to be down in the dumps for a long period of time.
We started therapy, and everything is going pretty good. Self-love is our biggest priority right now. So I hope to an extent I've learnt to love myself. Maybe everyone has gotten better. I want everyone to improve. Nobody deserves to be unhappy.
I just hope I can see my surroundings and finally smile again.
3. What do you want to change?
Change is a hard thing to understand, for me at least, change has always been a complex topic. So Instead, let me say this. I don't want to change, instead, I want to implement Kaizen, and see a difference in a few years. Kaizen, AKA Continuous improvement, will allow me to continuously improve myself, and my mental and emotional capabilities. Enhancing my quality of life, and giving me a degree of confidence I've always needed.
Also, I want to be a shredded Zyzz ****. But, that's not a goal. Just a thought lol.
Also, I need a pet, either a Cat, Dog or Parrot. Cause yknow. Ibby likes animals.
Regardless of what I want to be, you are and will be you. After all, future me knows more than past you. I trust your judgement.
Live life, have fun! And please, don't regret anything.
We've regretted enough as it is.
Carpe Diem,
It is what it is,
Take Care!
