A letter from Sep 7th, 2021

Dear FutureMe, Today, I started working as a freelance in my dream company, only for one month though. The place is rather far from home and it did not pay very well (based on mom’s opinion), but this is my first job after graduating from college. It gave me a sense of security, knowing that I’m working, knowing that I’m doing something productive in the middle of this pandemic. I feel anxious around new people as usual, and I find it hard to start a conversation. I guess we just have to hope for the best.
