A letter from Sep 4th, 2021

Dear FutureMe, Michael Benavides English 1 Honors Sep 8, 2021 Dear Future Me Letter Dear future me, Yeah, so hi, I don’t actually know when you’re gonna see this but hopefully you’re ok by then. Anyways, I’m gonna get into key club which is about helping people so hopefully that went well. And I forgot to tell you but I managed to get honors in all my classes which I know you already know but yay me right? Yep, now I don’t know if I should get into any other clubs but since I don’t know anyone that’ll help but you’ll know if I get into anything else. And I’ve managed to expand my circle of friends a bit more now and also I’m starting out the whole year off with good grades, I spiffed my health and P.E grade but I’ll fix it so I’m not worried but other than that I’m doing great in ELA and History to just start off the year so hopefully you’ll keep going like that. I promise with all the hard work you did or are doing, I don't know what to say since you’ll be in the future here but uh yeah with all the hard work I’ve done, I managed to do that and I hope and pray that you’re in a good place when you’re reading this in terms of grades and achievements. I've been trying to also expand my cooking skills lately and I know you’re gonna be a great cook someday or maybe even professionally if you change interests late, I mean look at Gordon ramsey. He lives off of that stuff. Also I’m thinking of being a lawyer or maybe do something to do with medicine but I’m not sure right now. Hopefully you chose a nice career and not only that but I want you to be driving a recent car. I know that sounds picky of past me but at least get yourself something nice or something that won’t be breaking down all the time. Oh yeah I’m into car stuff now because cars are cool, also I’ve always thought Fast and Furious was a cool movie so I guess that’s where it started. Also as past me, I hope you’re still religious because you know, you have to stay with that. I do a lot of gaming, video editing and some music production sometimes for fun but I really have wanted to get into a school sport but I don’t think I’m cut out for that. Also, speaking of sports, I’ve been thinking about backups, and what I mean by that is that maybe if I don’t get a scholarship out of academics, I could possibly get one out of sports. And it’s not really even like I'll do the sport just for the scholarship but I want to not only do it for fun. I believe that all these goals that I’ve mentioned are achieved or achievable to you. And I forgot to mention that but I hope that you’re going to a nice college near mom and dad, I know that that would be the best option to stay close to them.
