A letter from the past

Dear FutureMe, How's your senior year? Right now in 2021, I'm not sure on whether or not I'll be in California; I hope I still am, though! Are you still doing orchestra? I won't lie, I've been debating about dropping it next year to instead pick up computer sciences. I want to expand my knowledge in C++. On the topic of programming, how's robotics and that going for you? Were you able to finally code a program by your lonesome? In robotics class, I'm still re-learning C++ with Bella for our bot, BadBat. The first tournament of the season (for us) is in a week, and I'm a lil bit worried about it. It should be fine though. How's Kaiju and Umi doing? Are they still having their occasional tussles, or have they gotten better? We're still working on them eating food next to each other, but it's a really slow process. Related to family, how's Rori doing? Have they finally gotten in Robotics, or did they decide not to? Yesterday, they tried to get in... a month later than the application date. It ***** me with how they can be. My birthday's coming up in 15 days, so happy early birthday, future me! Do you know what gifts you're gonna get? Personally, I went through a bunch of options with my mom because she didn't know what to get/what to look for. I don't blame her; nowadays, it feels like my interests change with a flip of a dime. Seeing what I'm gonna get has me looking forward to it if anything. The only items I don't know what I'm gonna get would be from Gigi and Papa, but I'll love whatever they get me. Earlier today, actually, my mom gave me two early gifts. One of them was a pair of orange, plaid Tripp cargo pants that I fell in love with immediately. I have gotten a few compliments from it today as well. The other gift was a Virgo shirt; I couldn't wear it, or more specifically didn't wanna risk it, because on the shirt itself it reads "smart-***." My mom said not to worry about it, but there's always that what-if. Lastly, how's our Discord group going? Are you still with "lesbians; the sequel," or did something happen? Right now, we're organizing a vr-chat night this weekend as we've been putting it off for aaaagggeeees. Dunno who's gonna play specifically, but I know Comrade, Sorrel, and maybe Hannah are gonna be there. I just don't know what we're gonna play, which usually ends up being the main problem. Whatever your response would be, it's good to hear. Reading it with a new lense is something I'll be looking forward to. Wishing the best, PastMe
