Time Travelled — almost 5 years

Peaceful right?

Dear FutureMe, I don't know why the younger me thought I would have a job by now. That would be ideal but I have learned I am anything but. As I hoped in my 2nd letter, I did manage to achieve some of the things I set out to do, to some extent at least. I have had rebounding's but everyone has those. Due to Coronavirus the world has gone to chaos and still hasn't come back in control. My parents had me take admission in a University. I don't think I need to repeat the problems I went through these past months. I am only 22 years old but I feel as if life is almost over, I feel 50 or as if I am rushing towards 50. I feel as if I have already lost my youth. I have certainly changed a lot, my writing and English has become more sophisticated. And perhaps I don't write as much as I would like to, I have still improved. I have stopped drawing entirely. I don't think I have lost my spark, just the energy. I have a lot on my mind. I have been home since 11 March, 2020. It became unbearable swiftly, in a few months. Now I am static. I feel alone and unstimulated. The only reason I have not gone mad is books. At least I picked up reading again and I have no intention of letting it go. My goals and passions change every few years but there is one aim that has remained the same and that is to be free of my parents. And I still haven't achieved it. I think that then this is my hope for the future me, for you: Are you free? I want to prepare for Bank exams, they suit someone like me. This time in my M. Tech. I am not going to hold back, I will give it my best. I will get good marks. That is what I want, what I will do. I hope to finish my work-in-progress, soon. In the future, I hope that even if I achieved nothing, I would at least be closer.
