Dear FutureMe,
This letter is intended for you, the happy and successful you. I am dedicating this letter to you who is now living your dreams. Before you proceed with the entire thing, let me give you an advice. Whatever the results and situation you are in right at the moment you are reading this, I hope you have enough courage. I hope this letter will make you smile. I hope that you're glad that I am here with you all along and I hope that you are proud of me. This is my vision but as I always want to keep in my mind, His plan for you matters most.

I would be very happy if I'm right, that all the things I am going through right now is for you and this faith and pain will all gonna be worth it. I keep on believing that this is part of transition, the part of healing that pains me more which will eventually give you life, a life that exceeds my imagination and that only God can see.
Are you living alone now? I guess you do. 5 years is too long for you just to be on this old room. I guess you are productive now. I guess you also get out of your comfort zone. You got the licensed? Topnotched the board? I guess you are working the job you are praying for or if not, I guess you are growing in sacrifice and hard work and that it is still in progress. How's being an advocate/volunteer going on? Tell me how satisfying it is 'cause I'm really excited to know. Are you living your principles now? Have you totally cut off someone you wanted to? I hope you practice saying what you feel without thinking what others might say. I hope you are brave enough to just let things be. I hope you finally show how much you care to the people you truly love. I hope that you can express yourself more now. I hope that everything in your mind is peaceful. Have you said sorry to lola? I hope there's a picture of her wearing your sablay and you holding your college diploma as I am wishing you to have, maybe hanging somewhere in your room or hiding in your gallery, or maybe posted in your lively social media feed. I hope Nanay and Tatay is proud of you. I hope you help kuyas as well. I hope you are in good terms with the siblings and I hope that you are the supportive tita I wanted to be for Cal and Aliyah. How's the new bunso? Would love to watch him/her grow after birth but goals are goals! Please don't forget how much I love them - my little rays of sunshine.
I hope that everything inside my heart, (God knows how pure they are) still lives in you. No change of heart, okay? I hope you bring with you things God already stored in me. Most importantly, I hope you love yourself more than I did.
There is so much concrete events, milestones and even failures that I definitely missed in this letter but God knows.
So excited for youuu! I look forward to hearing from you real soon.
P.S. won't be surprised if you still don't have a boyfriend yet. Don't be pressured! But maybe, it would be nice to have one (As long as you're ready, why not? 😂) or maybe a friend? Whatever it is and whoever he is, I just hope you find your constant.
P.P.S When you'll write back, tell me when is the exact date the pandemic ended. Wait, did it end?
P.P.P.S I got confused with all the grammars and tenses I used. Please don't mind
Love,
Gail ♡
