A letter from Sep 2nd, 2021

Dear FutureMe, If you are still alive, I just want to congratulate you for surviving. I know I would always say that there is no point in living anymore, yet we both know that is not true. Life has always been hard, we both know that. The world full of sunshine and rainbows that we once knew was gone, and as time flies the world we live in slowly turns grey, and our perspective about life slowly changes. But we keep on striving and trying to become the best version of ourselves every year, don't we? We have our friends to help us, and I know there is one person who will be with us through thick and thin. For now, the only thing I would wish for you is to heal from your traumas and to let go of that anger we held for years. Both of our past has wounded us, and yes, until now, it hurts. I know you are stronger, smarter, and kinder than you once were. The road to loving yourself may be difficult, but our family has our back. :)
