Dear FutureMe, It's 11:00, new years eve and i'm sipping champagne and feeling in a wonderful mood. I might be alone but it dont matter. So, do you feel the same now as you did then? You probably married that girl. Hey, idiot if you havent yet, dont. If you have , pretend you didnt read this. You've been married before, a couple of times, remember its a lot more fun having all those ex's and kids to manage than being tied down to just one. Everyone seems to get along when they can have me for a little bit of time. No chance to wear out the welcome. Even the kids like it that way. More gifts each time I see them. If you arent in love with life like I am now, focus on what got you here now. I mean now like I am now. Wow, this future thing is funny. What got me here is my 11 year old daughter and my fabulous job of 20 years. Dont forget D. Dont forget M. Dont forget my quiet home and neighbohood. Remember the passion with J. Here's some more: sirious sat. radio, walking in a snowstorm, stargazing, trains, the last book you read, elvis, and finaly, think of all the love that all the girls have shown you, cause up to now, you've been blessed when you compare yourself to the rest of this screwed up world. Are the kids still fab? If not, is it them or you? Be honest and take the time and say " i'm going to be better next year" even if you've been elected number one dad in this galaxy. Remember, forge ahead
