A letter from Aug 31st, 2021

Dear Future best friend, Hi this letter is written on 31st August 2021, when we're still 19 years old. How are you doingggg??? I hope we're still friends. Honestly, 5 years is so far ahead and many things could happen in between. We're like-, 24 years old in the next 5 years? That is so long :( But let's see if we remember this. I'm someone who's really bad at words and wouldn't want to send appreciations based on good texts, but I'm actually really happy that you came into my life last year. Just a little memory to remember how we meet and some cool stuff in b/w!: We used to be primary friends, not so close but you transferred to another school when we're 10. And when you came back, we don't even talk to each other that much, or lets say it's just like a once in a blue moon thing. But out of nowhere when I was hanging out with a friend of mine (who's your classmate) and eventually you are also hanging out with your (and her) classmate that time, we got to sit together and talk more? I was so happy when you suddenly text me to finish ******* Stalking (but ehem i didnt*) Then we started to get close through anime and stuff, we realized we were so different from each other in aspects of personality, but we still managed to have some interesting discussion sometimes, which was really meaningful to me. Wherever you are right now, I hope you're healthy and driving success in your life. We might not always be chatting with each other in the future (due to work and stuff) but a nice conversation once in a while is good enough. And also please don't forget me after I leave the country :< I might not be by your side when you need me but the phone is always there to talk okay. Can't wait to see your anime and manga collections in the future !! Here are some goals I wanted to do with you <3: - Travel to Japan - At least have a staycation when we're in between 19-20 years old - Visit Singapore with you (Universal studio date!!) - Visit your graduation ceremony - Eat the Peyoung Yakisoba - Able to record moments together (it's lockdown now we're not able to see each other :D) - Watch more animes and movies - I'm not sure if this will happen but I did dreamt of volunteering in the olympics with you before - JudGe your future boyfriend (if he ever hurt my best friend) - Wonder if we will ever get double date LMAO (since we both single now)
